Erika Nakatsui - Communication Chair Erika is a passionate Edmontonian, calling this city home for her entire life. She is a mother of two fabulous children and as her family grew, so did her desire to help families in need. It was during a social media conference that she found herself watching a presentation by the Ronald McDonald House in Edmonton. Between sobs and wiping mascara streaks off her cheeks, Erika was so moved by the stories the presenter told that she immediately began looking for opportunities to get involved. This led her to the Red Shoe Society. As RSS’ Communications Chair, Erika helps plan all communications strategies, sharing the RSS messages effectively and impactfully. In her spare time, Erika loves to run, mostly after ice cream trucks. Because fabulous children love ice cream.
